newline Flight testing is a specialized activity in aviation undertaken to determine or evaluate performance, stability, controllability and mission accomplishment capability of the aircraft under test. The flight trials are undertaken by a team of qualified test pilots and flight test engineers. The flight test crew undertakes both the Ground Evaluation involving subjective assessments and flight trials of the aircraft in order to confirm compliance with the operational/ regulatory requirements and safe flying operation of the production aircraft or newly developed prototype or a line aircraft modified to meet specific requirements
