quotMetal forming has gained much prominence in manufacturing industries in the
newlinerecent times. In sheet metal forming design, the enormous number of factors viz.,
newlineMaterial quality, machine parameters including tool and die geometry, work piece
newlinegeometry, and working conditions are involved and interrelated. The cracks in the
newlinegenerated component are unpreventable output and often lower the component
newlinequality, diminishes the product life and acceptability of the product. Total elimination
newlineof failures during deep drawing process is a trivial task; however, with proper
newlineselection of material, process parameters, failures can be curtailed. For selection of
newlinebest alternative of aluminum alloy material, few of the Multi Attribute Decision
newlineMaking (MADM) methods are utilized in the current work and based on rank wise
