Introduction newlineThese Primary Agricultural Co-operative Credit Societies are operating at the bottom newlineof the co-operative credit structure at the village level. They are registered under the newlineKarnataka Co-operative Societies Act. Society formed at the village level to supply newlineagricultural credit and other inputs to the agriculturists is called as Primary newlineAgricultural Co-operative Credit Society. It is a basic unit and smallest co-operative newlinecredit institutions in India. It works on the grassroots level (Village level). The rural newlineeconomy of any nation is heavily reliant on agricultural production. The economic newlinegrowth of a nation is significantly influenced by the agriculture sector. Therefore, newlineagricultural development must accompany the rise of the country s economy. For the newlineagricultural development, much agricultural activities has to be done, for that money newlineis required, so the main objective of the village co-operative credit societies is to grant newlineloans and other inputs to members at low rates of interest. Farmer beneficiaries are in newlinedirect contact with these societies, and they will much benefit from the government newlinevarious schemes. newline2. Literature Review newlineA total of 410 literatures have been collected out of which 350 literatures were most newlinerelevant to the topic and the current research. Research Gap newlineand#61656; Many studies had been conducted process and working pattern of PACS, newlinehowever no studies had looked into the behavioural intentions and constraints newlinefaced by the members of Primary Agricultural Credit Co-operative Societies newlineof Dakshina Kannada District. newlineand#61656; Studies showed lack of awareness about participation of members in these co newlineoperatives which might have led to improved financial well-being, reduced newlineeconomic risks, and enhanced access to credit facilities. newline
