dc.description.abstractTechnological advancement of Mobile Networks allows transmission of data through a network without having to be connected to a fixed physical link with mobile nodes Mobile voice and data communication is generally established all over the world and has got a very rapid increase in the number of subscribers to the various mobile networks over the last 10 years Mobile service providers, giving Quality of Service to the subscribers is the essential challenge An extension of technological advancement the improvement of the QoS is met by the Mobile service providers In Mobile Networks to meet the subscriber demand the Mobility Management is taken into account and new protocols introduced and the performance of each protocol with QoS parameters are compared Location Management and Handoff Management is the part of MM the LM is used for tracking the subscribers location to deliver calls Short Message Service and other mobile phone services Redundant Update Remove Algorithm is used for reducing the location updation between Base Station Controller and Mobile Switching Center MSC The RURA checks the existing location of MN in BSC before makes updation in MSC newlineen_US
