Abstract
Thermal performance of the equipments can be improved in many
newlineways including two phase thermosyphon which is an efficient heat exchanger
newlineand can be used to enhance the heat transfer because of phase changes of
newlineworking fluids Thermosyphon have simple structure low resistance high
newlineefficiency and low fabrication cost
newlineIn this research work a two phase thermosyphon has been
newlinefabricated to investigate the effect of operating parameters on the heat
newlinetransport capability The system consists of evaporator section adiabatic
newlinesection and condenser section with thermocouples located on the wall of
newlinethermosyphon Electric heater was fixed on the bottom of the evaporator
newlinesection and water jacket for cooling the condenser was placed on the top of
newlinethe condenser section of the thermosyphon
