newlineIn accordance with above mentioned context, Government of India has created
newline12 Central Universities in different states of India under Central University Act,
newline2009, to provide higher education to the citizens residing at their door step and
newlinemaking each individual to have access to higher education.
newlineThe purpose of the study is to investigate the factors leading to the crisis in higher

newlinescope of improvement in selected sample universities on the basis of selected
newlineparameters.
newlineIt is of general understanding that a period of one decade is enough for any new
newlineeducation institution for setting up its administrative and academic departments
newlinewith sufficient and quality infrastructure with varied facilities. Hence, there is a
newlineconsiderable scope in providing and increase in funds for institution established
newlineunder Central Universities Act, 2009. Moreover the governance system of
newlineuniversities should appreciate student s participation, case studies on newly
newlineestablished institutions should be encouraged by the government simultaneously.
