Purpose and Scope Hotels are responsible for significant amounts of waste, more than one-third newlineof which is food waste. There has been many studies where the issue of Food waste was discussed newlinebroadly. Most of the studies have quantified and measured the composition of Food waste in various newlinefood service points, but none of the studies have scrutinized and estimated the Impact of Food waste newlineon economic outcome of hotels yet. India being a developing nation and the issue of Food waste newlinehas become imperative, so it would be quite interesting to get the insights concerning the impact of newlineFood waste on economic outcome of hotels. Most of the area-specific studies were discussed in the newlinefield of environmental science while none of the studies have ascertained the impact of waste newlinegeneration on economic outcome of a hotel.
