dc.description.abstract Fiber-Reinforced Self-Compacting Concrete (FRSCC) is a new building material that combines the benefits of SCC with positive effect of added fibres into it. With the optimum addition of fibres, the brittle SCC was converted into a ductile material, thereby easily flows into the interior of the formwork, passing into the obstacles and compacting under its own weight. Utilising a single type of fibre as secondary reinforcement for concrete will have less improvement in the performance of the concrete. To overcome this restriction, the hybrid fibres were employed to improve the performance of concrete. A hybrid fibre combines two or more different types of fibre that have been rationally combined to get the desired outcomes. The single type of fibre was used in majority of research as a reinforcement material in the concrete. There were not many literatures available on hybrid fibres being used as a reinforcement material in the Self-compacting concrete to improve the performance of the concrete. Due to fibre hybridization, various types of cracks can be arrested, tensile strength is increased, and also helps in holding the matrix together even after extensive cracking. The SCC with incorporation of two or more kinds of fibre blended as secondary reinforcement is known as the Hybrid Fiber Reinforced Concrete (HYSFRSCC) newline
