The trends of urbanization and its impact on socio economic conditions of Hisar district Haryana India

Abstract

This study discussed the urbanization trend and its impact and entitled The Trends of Urbanization and it s Impact on Socio-Economic Conditions of Hisar District, Haryana, India . Data for this study has collected during 1991-2021 from both primary and secondary source, for the current information, researcher collected the data by primary survey in study area with the help of questionnaire. All the chapters explained the research title and the basic terms of urbanization. The Urban words are generally classified into cities, suburbs, towns, and conurbations. According to A.B. Gallion The city means the whole people who inhabit it, the entire collection of the house the people live in, the shops in which they work, the street on which they travel and the place in which the trade . Modern urbanization in India started from 1707. In the beginning Britishers developed port cities on the Konkan, Malabar and Coromandel coast. The Portuguese also developed some port cities in India like Daman and Diu, For trading purposes. After that Britishers has also developed the Chennai, Mumbai and Surat city for the same reason. French and Portuguese also played an important role in urbanization process. Pondicherry, Calicut and Mahi city urbanized by French. newline
