An Analytical Study of Job Satisfaction of Co Operative Banks Employees with Special Reference to Latur District

Abstract

Human resource is the important resource among all resources for any newlinetime of organization. Success and failure of organization is dependent on how newlinethey manage their human resource properly. In recent years importance of newlinehuman resource and management is increasing day by day. Proper human newlineresource management leads to job satisfaction of employees. Job satisfaction is newlinean essential element to get work done from the individual at workplace. There newlineare many factors influence job satisfaction of an employee. newlineIndia is mixed economy and there is co-existence of Public Sector, newlinePrivate Sector and Co-operative Sector in our country. Studies of job newlinesatisfaction in Public Sector and Private Sector have been done on a large scale, newlinebut in Co-operative Sector there is absence of attention from the researchers for newlinethe same. newlineCo-operative bank forms important part in the economy of a country, newlinemajority semi-urban and rural economy is dependent on Co-operative banks for newlinethe development. It is necessary to understand the working condition in the Cooperative newlinebanks as per the employee perspective. Study of job satisfaction helps newlineto know the attitude of employees towards the organization. So, present study newlinehas been undertaken for study and identifying the factors of job satisfaction of newlineCo-operative bank employees. Co-operative banks registered in Latur District newlinehave been taken for the research study. 14 Urban Co-operative Banks and 1 newlineLatur District Co-operative banks have selected and by which total 500 newlinesamples have been collected using structured questionnaire. newlinePresent study will contribute in number of ways in the field of Cooperative newlineand other sector. It will highlight the importance of Co-operative newlinebank employees, their problems and prospect. After the critical analysis of newlinedifferent factor is concluded that majority of Co-operative bank employees are newlinenot satisfied in their job. Various changes are necessary to be taken by the newlineregulatory authorities for the betterment of Co-operative bank employees. newline
