Organizational Culture and Its Impact on Employee Engagement and Effectiveness A Case Study of an Indian Manufacturing Company Leading two Wheeler Manufacturer

Abstract

The objective aim of the proposed research is to determine the organizational culture and its newlineimpact on employee engagement and effectiveness in a selected Indian manufacturing newlinecompany. To attain the aim of this study, mixed methodology has been adopted. In this study, newlinequantitative data is collected with the sample of 200 senior and middle level managers of the newlineselected manufacturing company and the qualitative data is collected with the sample of 13 newlinesenior level managers including the managers from HR department. The Quantitative study newlineresults demonstrated that there is a significant relationship among Organizational culture newline(Institutional leadership, management of employees, organization glue, and emphasis on newlinestrategy), employee engagement (Vigour, Dedication, and Absorption), and employee newlineeffectiveness (Job satisfaction and job performance). The qualitative study results revealed newlinethat training the employees regularly is the main challenges concerned in employee newlineengagement and effectiveness that has an influence on organizational culture. The study has newlineconcluded that the culture of the organization has to be strong with an adequate understanding newlineon the employee needs and expectations which can nourish employee engagement and newlineeffectiveness. newline
