Abstract

Science and technology at nanoscale has been extensively investigated since 1959 after a meeting organized by American Physical Society at Caltech that leads to a new revolution in the field of science and technology where a physics Noble laureate, Richard P Feynman formally introduced the concept of nanotechnology foremost in his very popular talk entitled There s a plenty of room at the bottom . [1] Since then small particles gained limelight in the development of matter or devices at atomic level. In the length scale, there is a magical world lies at one billionth of a meter (1nm = 10-9m) where smallest artificially made particles or devices meet naturally available atoms or molecules. The word Nano used as a prefix originated from a Latin word Nanus which means small or dwarf . This word opened doors in Nano world following Feynman ideology via multiple pathways such as nanotechnology, nanochemistry, nanoscience, nanomaterials, etc. newline
