| dc.description.abstract | ABSTRACT newlineAs people increasingly move across national borders or between different geographic locations, newlinetheir role in the socioeconomic development of the world becomes more pronounced. The newlineentrepreneurial ecosystem (EE), a widely recognized perspective that supports the growth of new newlinebusiness ventures, is particularly relevant in the global context. This research focuses on newlinetransnational entrepreneurs (TEs) who are immigrant entrepreneurs exhibiting entrepreneurial newlinetendencies and engaging in cross-border commercial activities. newlineRecognizing the significant research gaps in the studies on entrepreneurial ecosystems in the newlinecontext of international immigrants, this study embarks on a crucial investigation delving into the newlinerelationship between EE elements and entrepreneurial performance (EP) of TEs in two distinct newlineenvironments. Additionally, by analysing the impact of EE elements of the country of origin and newlinethe host country on the entrepreneurial activities of TEs, the objective of this research is to newlinehighlight the factors that significantly influence their EP. The study is particularly interested in the newlineperceived values of the transnational entrepreneurs regarding the prevailing Entrepreneurship newlineEcosystem of the home and host nations. Simply put, it checks the perception of TEs over their newlineperformance in the presence of a dual EE, leading to transnational entrepreneurship activities. By newlineuncovering the aspects of the EE from a transnational perspective, this study holds global newlineramifications. newlineFactors of EE affecting the activities of TE have been identified after a thorough literature review. newlineSubsequently, a quantitative research design was adopted, using a survey method to gather data newlinethrough purposive sampling, followed by snowball sampling. The data was gathered from 300 newlineTE s of Indian origin, spread across 11 countries via a telephonic interview with a structured newlinequestionnaire, that aimed to assess their perceptions over the EE of home and host countries and newlineEP. Statistical analysis was conducted using SPSS22 and S | |
