Effect of different interventions on social skills and classroom behaviour of children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder

Abstract

This study explored effect of Different Interventions on Social Skills and Classroom Behaviour of ADHD Children. The sample consisted of 60 children in four groups. ADHD Rating Scale-5 was used to identify ADHD children, selected randomly in three experimental groups (Time out from Positive Reinforcement, Self Regulation and Token Economy) and one control. Pre-test and Post-test were conducted. Different Interventions were administered for 30 sessions of 40 minutes each on experimental group. The results revealed there were significant effect of different interventions on Social Skills and Classroom behaviour of ADHD children even at delayed post-test stage. newline
