Effect of Varying Filler Composition on the Mechanical Behavior of CSEF Steel Welds Joint

Abstract

The power generation plant operates with various fuels like coal and natural gases. The developing countries like India and China having the power plants based on coal consumption due to which high emission of harmful gases were produced. These harmful gases create a major problem to the environment. In order to decrease the emission of harmful gases and to enhance the efficiency of the power plants, it is necessary to reduce the coal consumption. The operating conditions such as functioning pressure and temperature of the power plant directly affect the power plant efficiency. The power plants operational pressure and temperature cannot be increased beyond a limit due to the microstructural instability of the material. The sub-critical and supercritical power plants (SC) operate in the temperature range of 450-550 oC and offer poor efficiency and significant emission of greenhouse gases newline
