| dc.description.abstract | The objective of the research is to study the Soret and Dufour effects on the free convection boundary newlinelayer flow of an incompressible, viscous and chemically reacting fluid over a vertical plate in the presence of newlineviscous dissipation. The governing partial differential equations are converted to a set of ordinary differential newlineequations using suitable similarity transformations. The resulting equations are solved analytically using newlinehomotopy analysis method (HAM). The convergence of obtained analytical solutions is explicitly discussed. The newlineeffects of various parameters on dimensionless velocity, temperature and concentration profiles are discussed newlinewith the help of graphs. The numerical values of skin friction, Nusselt number and Sherwood number for newlinedifferent parameters are presented in tabular form. Our results are compared with the previously published newlineresults and are found to be in good agreement. newline | |
