Abstract
Wireless Mesh Network (WMN) is a technology to provide high
newlinebandwidth and network coverage. WMN helps the user to work at anywhere
newlineand anytime by connecting with wireless mesh routers. WMN distributes
newlineservice for a huge variety of applications. Eventhough all the nodes have
newlineconnections with the neighbournodes, a specific node has directconnection
newlinewith all the nodes. Source node has to communicate with the target node
newlinethrough intermediate nodes,in such cases the latency ofdata transmission is
newlinehigh, which in turn reduces the throughput of the network.
newlineIf there is a short route is obtained to reach the destination, then the
newlinesame route will be used by multiple transmissions which also affect the
newlinethroughput of the network. The path selection must be carried out by
newlineconsidering many factors like traffic, delay, throughput, and bandwidth
newlineconditions. The delaybased routing protocol considers only the delay factor in
newlinethe selection of a route. Whereas the stabilitybased routing algorithm
newlineconsiders only the circulation parameter in route selection, and it may choose
newlinethe longer route even if a short routeexists. By using proposed Time Variant
newlineHigh Energy Node Priority Analysis (TVHENPA) algorithm, the overall
newlineperformance of the network is improved.
