Nano technology plays a vital role in textile finishing To impart newlinefunctional finishes to fabrics nano metal oxides are widely used In this newlineresearch work nano silica particles are synthesized from natural resource of newlinerice hulls to impart crease recovery finish to cotton fabrics The nano silica newlineparticles are synthesized by thermal degradation method The synthesized newlineparticles are characterized by XRD studies The XRD result reveals that the newlineparticles are of an amorphous nature The amorphous particles are newlinecharacterized under Scanning Electron Microscopy SEM and High newlineresolution Transmission Electron Microscopy HRTEM The HRTEM study newlineproves that the particles are in nano size and the particle size is around 50 to newline100 nm newline newline
