| dc.description.abstract | The sewing machine operation is a most busy working operation in culturally newlinedifferent background country like India. Present study is done in city of Nagpur in newlinecentral India. Pedal sewing operation is a man machine system. It is completed by newlineusing concepts of ergonomics which is the scientific discipline concerned with the newlineunderstanding of interactions among humans and other physical elements of newlinesystem.The guiding fundamental of workplace design is to fit the workplace to the newlineworker. Evaluation of the workplace can identify the source or sources of work newlinerelated musculoskeletal disorders. Proper design of the workstation decreases the newlineeffort required by the worker to maintain a working position. newline | |
