dc.description.abstract	Natural plants are known for their remarkable pharmacological importance in treating various ailments, thereby contributing in the progressive development of human health. In Indian traditional medicinal system (Ayurveda) which is said to be more than 5000 years old, medicinal plants are being classified as medhya rasayana , coming from sanskrit words medhya meaning intellect/cognition and rasayana which means rejuvenation.
