Data were gathered from smallholder farmers in rural areas to understand newlinetheir methods of accessing agricultural knowledge and information for poverty reduction. newlineAdditionally, the collaboration between the Tanzanian government, agricultural newlinestakeholders, and smallholder farmers was examined in promoting rural and agricultural newlinedevelopment. Despite the recognized potential of mass media in providing agricultural newlineinformation to both rural and urban populations, its effectiveness in facilitating access to newlinesuch information for poverty alleviation among Tanzanian farmers was explored. The newlinemass media was identified as a significant tool for fostering political, social, and newlineeconomic growth within rural communities. newline
