Abstract
The approach of Cloud computing in the area of information technology
newlinesatisfies the need of the end users. It is a model in which on demand
newlinenetwork access is also provided to the users by using the pool of shared
newlineresources (services, applications, storage and networks). All these services
newlineare provided to the end users with the minimal interference of service
newlineprovider and effort of management. One of the cloud service model in
newlinewhich consumers need not to manage and control the hidden cloud
newlineinfrastructure but on the other hand has a full control over the displayed
newlineapplications is IaaS (Infrastructure as-a-service). All the data, information
newlineand accessibility are provided through internet, so security becomes an
newlineintegral part. There are many security algorithms and mechanisms available
newlinetill today but inherent some of the disadvantages in them. Traditional
newlineauthentication based security method helps to achieve the end user s
newlineidentity but fails, because user can be manipulated to gain the access of the
newlinedata. Location based authentication is one of the method that helps to
newlineensure the authenticity of the user. GPS (Global Positioning System) is used
newlineto get the geographical location of the users and only those end users are
newlineable to use the resources and services that are present in that particular
newlinelocation to meet the protocols. Once the location is authenticated AES
newline(Advanced Encryption Standard) algorithm is used for secure
newlinecommunication for the transference of data is accessed over the internet.
newlineThe work aims in providing the methodology in which IaaS framework is
newlineimplemented with location based authentication of the user in cloud
newlinecomputing.
