Abstract

newline The study investigates various themes of dystopia in the selected fiction of Ian McEwan. newlineThe dystopian themes which are analyzed in the selected works of McEwan are violence, mental newlineillness, degradation of the environment and human values. One short story collection First Love, newlineLast Rites (1975) and six other novels; The Cement Garden (1978), Enduring Love (1997), newlineAtonement (2001), Saturday (2005), Solar (2010), Nutshell (2016) are selected for the study.
