A Study of Labour Union Management in Indian Manufacturing Organizations

Abstract

The present research study deals with labour union management in manufacturing organizations based in Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Haryana in India. The research expands further elaborates on how labour unions affect employee behaviour and organisational performance in the three regions. Its primary objective remains to seek and explain the relationship between labour unions and manufacturing firms regarding challenges and opportunities present in forming an effective dialogue and collaboration among these entities. newlineThis research paper examines the leadership style of labour unions in manufacturing firms in the states of Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, and Haryana in India. This study adopted a descriptive survey design, which utilized statistical tools such as Excel and SPSS to process comprehensive data analysis. In the identification of independent variables, this study chose labour union activities. For this particular study, considerations of the dependent variables included labour welfare and organisational performance. The instrument for primary data collection includes a questionnaire. Secondary data is sourced from academic literature as well as relevant websites on the internet. newline newline
