dc.description.abstractReinforced Concrete (RC) constructions usually receive changes and newlineperformance improvements during their useful lifespans. Utilising Fiber newlineReinforced Polymer (FRP) is a very effective approach for enhancing and newlinefixing concrete constructions. Currently, there is extensive global research newlinebeing conducted on the utilisation of FRP composites for the purpose of newlinereinforcing and repairing RC elements. FRP solutions provide a financially newlinefeasible alternative to traditional repair processes and materials. An newlineexperimental investigation was conducted on the flexural behaviour of RC newlinebeams enhanced in flexure using externally bonded FRP. The evaluation of newlineRC beams with outside FRP sheets attached using resin was conducted newlineutilising a symmetrical two-point concentrated static loading method. newlineThe experimental test programme utilised a total of ten beams. Among newlinethe ten beams tested, one serves as the control specimen. The remaining newlinebeams were reinforced at their undersides using FRP laminates. This newlinedocument provides a comprehensive guide on the step-by-step process and newlinepractical implementation of FRP laminates utilising the hand layup method newlinefor the purpose of RC beams. The objective of this work is to analyse the newlineflexural characteristics of RC beams and make a comparison with beams that newlinehave been reinforced. newline
