Abstract

The dynamic shifts in climatic patterns have engendered a myriad of newlinechallenges for contemporary farmers. Predominant among these tribulations newlineare the scarcity of water, suboptimal utilization of fertilizers, and the undue newlineproliferation of pesticides. These factors collectively contribute to diminished newlineyields of food crops and concurrently escalate the financial burden on farmers. newlineTo address these exigencies, a sophisticated solution has been devised through newlinethe integration of Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) into an agricultural newlinesystem which operates autonomously to meticulously oversee variables such as newlinetemperature, humidity, soil moisture levels, NPK (Nitrogen, Phosphorous, and newlinePotassium) concentration, and crop development for facilitating automated newlinewater dispensation and fertilizer administration. By furnishing farmers with a newlinediverse spectrum of options, this autonomous system augments their overall newlinestandard of living. The manifold benefits of this research endeavor ensure not newlineonly to farmers but also to researchers directly or indirectly engaged in agrarian newlinepursuits. The extensive spectrum of adaptable techniques, technologies, and newlineremedies generated by these efforts contributes substantially to amplifying newlineagricultural productivity. In precision agriculture, wired networks may exhibit newlinedrawbacks such as restricted mobility for interconnected devices, heightened newlineinstallation complexity in expansive fields, and susceptibility to cable damage newlinefrom agricultural activities or environmental elements. In this realm, a newlinepreference for Wireless Sensor Networks over wired configurations seems to newlinebe the better option because of their inherent advantages, particularly within newlinethe agricultural sector. newline
