Fixed Point Results in Certain Spaces

Abstract

Metric fixed point theory is an essential tool for various branches of mathematics and applied sciences. As Banach contraction principle plays a fundamental role in metric fixed point theory, it is generalised by many mathematicians in different directions. Generalisation of metric space is one such newlinedirection. Some of the generalisations of metric space which will be of interest to our study are b-metric space, rectangular b-metric space, Gb-metric newlinespace, S-metric space, Sb-metric space, S-metric-like space, etc. newline
