Nanofluid is a two phase fluid of solid liquid mixture and is emerging as a promising thermo fluid for heat transfer application. Addition of mono nanoparticle in base fluid to improve the heat transfer characteristics of the base fluid is a proven technology. Currently, to improve further the heat transfer characteristics of nanofluids, researchers are focusing on impregnation two or more nanoparticles in either hybrid form or composite form into base fluids called hybrid or nanocompositefluid. In the present research study a new nanocompositeparticle (TiO2-Ag) is synthesized. The commonly used standard characterization techniques are followed to analyze the prepared nanocompositeparticle. From the Field emission scanning electron microscope (FESEM) analysis, the shape of the nanocompositeparticle is confirmed to be spherical and silver (Ag) nanoparticle are attached to the surface of titanium dioxide (TiO2) as confirmed form High Resolution Transmission Electron Microscope (HRTEM) analysis. The X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) peak and Energy Dispersive Spectra Analysis (EDAX) confirm the formation of TiO2 Ag nanocomposite particle concentration of silver (Ag) about 9.5 wt.% and titania (TiO2) 90.5 wt.%. Then, nanocompositefluid (TiO2-Ag/distilled water) is prepared by two step method using the prepared nanocompositeparticle. The most effective dispersion method; ultrasonication is used to disperse the TiO2-Ag/nanoparticle in to the distilled water. Magnetic stirring followed by probe sonication produces a homogenous suspension of nanoparticles in the base fluid. newline
