Human Rights Law and Policy on Refugees A Critical Study

Abstract

The problem of refugees is not new. It is an age old problem and a humane problem. newlineEvery human being is having the right to live with dignity and to be given a nationality status. It newlineis a universal obligation of every nation that no individual should be left in a condition of newlinestatelessness. The concept of nationality acts as a vital link between individual and a nation. It newlineenables the person to ensure certain rights and duties and to be secured by a particular nation to newlinewhich he belongs. But in the case of Refugees it does not happen so because Refugees are the one newlinewho has left their native country due to various reasons as established by the International law. newlineThey migrate to another country where they will be either or not given protection and rights newlinedepending upon the municipal laws of that country to which they have migrated. newline
