Over the past three decades, assisted reproductive technology has been newlineessential in enabling the birth of over five million children worldwide. However, it is important newlineto be aware that prolonged exposure to such treatment may potentially elevate the risk of cancer newlinein women. There are multiple factors that play a role in the development of cancer, including newlinegenetic predisposition, exposure to carcinogens, and personal lifestyle choices. newlineOvarian cancer is a commonly diagnosed type of cancer worldwide, and in India, newlineit is particularly prevalent among women. Hormonal imbalances often leading to issues like newlineanovulation or irregular menstrual cycles. Conditions like PCOS and endometriosis are newlinecharacterized by hormonal imbalances and have been shown to raise the risk of certain cancers, newlineparticularly ovarian and endometrial cancer.
