Abstract
Nature and its nuances are believed to be the outcome of balances between various
newlinepositive and negative forces prevalent on Mother Earth. With various climatic changes that
newlinehave been coursing over the blue planet, since its inception, organisms have evolved their
newlinepropensities of life by phenomena like adaptability, interdependence, parasitism, and symbiosis
newlineto name a few that maintain their mutual coexistence despite the challenges with biotic and
newlineabiotic stressors and as well with competitions from amongst them for small or big requisites
newlineto maintain their life processes and expand their civilization. Plants are the ultimate source of
newlinelife after water, and in line with the above, they equip with and/or evolved inherent and/or
newlinegifted attributes to face nature s challenges. Besides being the principal food source, plants are
newlinea source of numerous valued bio-actives, industrial raw materials, textiles, fibers, and
newlinemedicinal entities which shaped modernity and ethnicity attributes of human civilization
newlineglobally. Albeit this, the demands for not all these values equate with the production extent due
newlineto various factors prevailing in nature. New normal exploiting technological and
newlinebiotechnological advancements are highly sought to meet the demand vs supply challenges for
