quotThis present study focus on how to evaluate the quantity available for treatment and safe disposal of wastewater and reuse of sludge for sustainable development alternative to incineration in Mysore municipal corporation using Vidyaranyapuram STP as a case study area. newlineThe present study has encompassed a variety of domestic wastewater management issues that apply to Mysore City Corporation (MCC), as well as the environmental implications of these concerning the environmental and detrimental effects on the aquatic ecosystems of many non lethal compounds. newlineThe precautionary principles and scientific evidences may give a stringent demands on wastewater treatment in future. A broad overview of the review of literature on the topics in the result section included as well a detailed discussion regarding the application of this system. newlineA comprehensive study has been undertaken, which will provide for further application of wastewater treatment for Mysore Municipal Corporation. If the authorities of the municipal corporation incorporated the suggestions and a portion of our results, will provide a considerable, environmental, social and economical health benefits to the society. newlineThe present study provided a detailed and holistic analysis of domestic wastewater treatment system for Mysore. The development of the pilot biogas production proposed in the present study would hopefully can act as an effective and sustainable treatment and energy saving and upgrading of the current infrastructure.
