Early detection of Autism Spectrum Disorder using Machine learning techniques

Abstract

Autism also known as Autism Spectrum Disorder ASD is a neurodevelopmental disorder that affects communication social interaction and behaviour It is typically diagnosed in early childhood usually before the age of three People with autism may exhibit a wide range of symptoms and characteristics which is why it is referred to as a spectrum disorder It is important to note that autism affects each person differently and the severity of symptoms can vary significantly Some individuals with autism have exceptional abilities in specific areas such as music mathematics or visual arts The exact cause of autism is still not fully understood but it is believed to result from a combination of genetic and environmental factors There is no known cure for autism but early intervention and appropriate support can significantly improve the quality of life for individuals with autism Machine learning techniques have the potential to contribute to various aspects of autism research and intervention Machine learning algorithms can analyze large datasets including behavioral and medical data to identify patterns and indicators of autism By analyzing various data points such as speech patterns eye movements facial expressions and social interactions machine learning models can aid in the early detection and diagnosis of autism This early identification can lead to timely interventions and support Machine learning models can be trained on datasets containing information about individuals with autism to identify patterns and make detections The use of machine learning algorithms seems to offer promise in timely diagnostics It seems to be more efficient and drastically lowers the time to diagnose the disease The machine learning approach is a vigorous diagnostic algorithm grounded in human coded behaviour Proposed strategy concentrates on Machine learning procedure for classification and detection of ASD The main strategy is to detect autism using algorithms like the Support vector machine K Nearest Neighbour Decision trees and Random
