The outcome of this study is clearly points out that most of the rural customer and a sizeable newlinenumber of the urban customers are still averse to the idea of using the technology oriented newlinealternative mode of banking. The reasons being certain reservations on their part as to security of newlinethe service, accuracy of the transactions and privacy of transaction related information. The newlineresearcher based on the observations made during the study and interaction with the customers has newlinemade certain suggestions and recommendations to the bank to divert more number of customers newlineto alternative mode of banking.
