Abstract
Mobile Ad hoc Network (MANET) is a type of ad hoc network where the mobile nodes move randomly without requiring any infrastructure. In MANET, clustering is an important model to enhance the performance of routing. Cluster Head (CH) selection in MANET requires generating robustness by facing topology change caused through node movement, node breakdown and node insertion or removal. On the contrary, while transmitting the data over a network, several malicious nodes drop the data which leads to inefficient routing and security for attaining destination node. Therefore, the proposed work focuses on developing the stability in routing and secured data delivery with minimum end to end delay and energy utilization for MANET in order to improve throughput and lifetime of network during multipath transmission. Recently, few research works have been designed for stable routing and detecting the intrusions in MANET. An existing Ad hoc On-Demand Multipath Distance Vector-Secure Adjacent Position Trust Verification (AOMDV-SAPTV) protocol has been intended with enhanced security level. However, AOMDV-SAPTV protocol increases the routing strength and it is not sufficient while detecting the malicious nodes for reliable data communication in the network. Moreover, AOMDV-SAPTV routing protocol decreases routing stability and improves end to end delay while sending the packets from source to destination in MANET.
