Social and familial values of our culture spelled out in the Ramayan and the Ramcharitmanas

Abstract

newline The present research work has explored the Social and Familial Values of our Culture Spelled out in the Ramayan and the Ramcharitmanas . The work ignited the heart, soul, and mind of the researcher, the supervisor, and many consultants who provided their priceless manuscripts, scholarly opinions, and rich discursive essays on the topic. After much debate, discussion, literary and legal documentation, and scientific observation, a common consensus was offered that apart from being a poetry of epic dimension, it is the historical past of our culture also. Ramayan and Mahabharat are called the history of Sanatan culture, and even for the Supreme Court of India, it took 40 days to prove that Ram and Ramayan are the history of this land called Bhaarat. On 9 November 2019, 5 judges- Ashok Bhushan, S.A. Bobde, Ranjan Gogoi, D.Y. Chandrachud and S. Abdul Nazir (Dixit vi) bench, more than 1000 pages of a report by the ASI and witnesses from a diverse field of both academic and dharmic stalwarts presented the authenticity of their arguments with the help of factual presentation and the Honorable Supreme Court of India could not but accept the truth that Ramayan is the history of India presented in Sanskrit as it was the language of the period. The encyclopedic surveys and arguments both constitute this historic judgment (SC verdict), which will be quoted by the researcher frequently. The present research work is a humble attempt to recover the beauty, glory, and authenticity of a culture represented by Shri Ram, whose journey of life is penned in the Ramayan by the great poet, sage, and scientist Guru Valmiki which ultimately is the foundation of this Sanatan culture and civilization.
