Abstract
Polymeric nanoparticles (PNPs) are gaining significant potential, especially for water insoluble drugs, towards an efficient drug delivery system. Now a days, poor aqueous solubility and hydrophobicity are the main drawback of the drugs. The conjugation of water insoluble or partially soluble drugs with biodegradable polymers increases their biocompatibility and oral bioavailability by increasing their water solubility. It is required to fix these problems by polymeric conjugation, as it will help boost their efficiency for various biomedical applications. The various synthesis techniques and drug loading methods of polymeric nanoconjugates mainly contribute to improving the efficiency of the drug at the targeted sites. The PNPs can be designed and synthesised in various shapes, such as nanospheres, nanoring polymersomes, nanorods, dendrimers, nanodiscs, and spherical polymer micelles.
