Artificial Intelligence In Project Management A Swot Analysis With Special Reference To Indian Defence Public Sector Units

Abstract

The study entitled Artificial Intelligence in Project Management : A SWOT Analysis with newlinespecial reference to Defence Public Sector Units aims to study the Project Management newline(PM) Knowledge, Artificial Intelligence (AI) Knowledge and its applications in Project newlineManagement (PM) with reference to Project Managers /executors working in DPSUs of newlineIndia. newlineThe research was conducted with the aid of Project Managers /executors of the 9 DPSUs of newlineIndia. As it was intended to aggregate the responses, summarize to prove or disprove a newlinehypothesis, the methodology used was survey, through the most appropriate data collection newlinemethod in the form of questionnaire. To collect primary data and quantitative data in nature, newlinethe close ended questionnaire with indicators of measurement in the form of a Likert 5-point newlinescale was used to collect the quantitative data. Data collection in itself does not validate newlineanything till it is further analysed, interpreted and inferences drawn from the same. Interview newlineof some of the Project Managers was taken with help of unstructured open ended question and newlinefurther Qualitative analyses was done with to get the variables of various aspects of AI in newlineProject Management (PM) and SWOT Analysis as independent variables and Project newlineManagement (PM) and Artificial Knowledge of Project Mangers / executors as dependent newlinevariables which were used for the study. Quantitative analyses through the statistical methods newlinewere done through a combination of descriptive and inferential statistics. Descriptive statistics newlinegives the general description of the data and presents the general pattern and nature of the newlinedata, and hence it was used to draw inferences so as to arrive at specific conclusions of the newlinestudy. The data/information was exposed to the statistical tests like multiple regression and newlineANOVA test to test the hypotheses which have been formulated to answer the questions in newlinethe research. newlineThis research was done in the normal style of identifying the areas of interest. Since the newlineinvestigator works in the Defence Publi
