Abstract
newline The human race lives in an age of information overload. With the invention of
newlinenew technologies and gadgets, people have more access to the pool of information at a
newlinegreater speed than ever. Communities are reaching a point where there is just too much
newlinestuff to absorb. With a simple movement on a smartphone touch screen, everyone has the
newlineopportunity to search for and discover most of the information. Information has never
newlinebefore been so easily accessible and available at the fingertip. The number of smartphone
newlineusers in India is estimated to reach 299.24 million, with the number of smartphone users
newlineworldwide forecast to exceed 2.3 billion by that time. The reports also indicate that, time
newlinespent on smartphones and the internet has doubled. Improved mobile internet
newline1
newlineinfrastructure, the declining price of high-speed data, and the availability of smartphones
newlineare the primary reasons behind the radical shift in smartphone users behavior. The
newlinemaximum usage (48% of smartphone users) of the smartphone is found during working
newlinehours.
