dc.description.abstractSexual health is a state of physical, emotional, mental, and social well-being related to newlinesexuality, it is not merely the absence of desire, dysfunction, or infirmity. Sexual health requires newlinea positive and respectful approach to sexuality and sexual relationships, as well as newlinethe possibility of having pleasurable and safe sexual experiences, free of coercion, discrimination, newlineand violence. For sexual health to be attained and maintained, the sexual rights of newlineall persons must be respected, protected, and fulfilled. (World Health Organization (WHO), newlineworking definition 2002-2006 developed in consultation with theWorld Association of Sexual newlineHealth (WAS). Since 1974, the WHO has been engaged in the domain of sexual health. Late newlineadolescents will attain adult height in terms of physical development. Due to their increased newlineimpulse control, these late adolescents can take chances and reap rewards. In addition to developing newlinestrong romantic and friendship bonds, late adolescents also grow emotionally and newlinephysically apart from their families (Allen B, 2023). Numerous transitions encompass pubertal newlinealterations, physiological changes, hormonal fluctuations, pubic hair development, breast newlinematuration, and penile expansion. The body and mind will undergo transformations during newlinethe critical years of maturity. The main aim of the research is to construct an sexual health newlineintervention module and assess the impact of the sexual health intervention programme on newlinethe level of knowledge, attitude, and practice on sexual health among late-adolescent girls in newlinegovernment-aided colleges. Sample Frame: Target population- Late adolescent girls of age newlinegroup (18-21 years), Study setting at Government-aided girl s college in Chennai, Sampling newlinetechnique is non-probability sampling (Purposive sampling technique), Study type Quasi Experimental newlineDesign-Interventional study (Quantitative and Qualitative methods) with Pretest newlineand post-test, Study size- 335 late adolescent girls (Pre Test), 46 late adolescent girls (intervention newlinegroup) (Post Test).
