The increasing use of mobile display and their accompanying display screens has raised newlineconcerns about the potential adverse effects of blue light emitted by these devices on ocular newlinehealth. This study aims to investigate the symptomatic effects of mobile display light, newlinespecifically focusing on blue light, on the eyes. newlineThe symptomatic effects of mobile display light on the eyes are of particular interest due to newlinethe widespread usage of mobile display and the close proximity at which users hold these newlinedevices to their eyes. Blue light, with its shorter wavelength and higher energy compared to newlineother visible light, has been implicated in various ocular health issues. newlineResearch suggests that prolonged exposure to mobile display light, especially in the evening newlineor before bedtime, may contribute to digital eyestrain, also known as computer vision newlinesyndrome. Symptoms associated with digital eyestrain include eye fatigue, discomfort, newlinestrain, dryness, and blurred vision. Furthermore, frequent exposure to blue light from newlinemobile display has been linked to headaches, sleep disturbances, and disruption of the newlinecircadian rhythm, which can negatively impact overall health and well- being. newlineThere is also growing concern about the potential long-term effects of blue light exposure newlineon the eyes. Studies have suggested a possible association between blue light exposure and newlineincreased risk of macular degeneration and retinal damage. The photo toxicity of blue light, newlinecombined with cumulative exposure over time, may contribute to these ocular conditions. newlineIn conclusion, the symptomatic effects of mobile display light, particularly blue light, on the newlineeyes can be significant. Prolonged exposure to blue light may lead to digital eyestrain newlinesymptoms, such as eye fatigue and discomfort, as well as more serious issues like sleep newlinedisturbances and potential long-term ocular damage. Further research is neededto better newlineunderstand the mechanisms underlying these effects and to develop strategies for mitigating newlinethe potential harm caused by mobile display lig
