newlineHuman Resource Management (HRM) is the main function within an
newlineorganization that focuses on planning, staffing (recruitment and selection), and providing
newlinedirection for the people. It deals with various issues related to people such as
newlinecompensation, performance appraisal, Training and development, teamwork, employee
newlineparticipation, and employee motivation in the firm.
newlineThe employee perception on HR practices also playing a key role in the
newlineorganizations. The negative perception of employee shows impact overall HR practices
newlinein the organizations. HR Practices (HRP) are the backbone of organizational success,
newlineplaying a pivotal role in shaping the workforce, and ultimately influencing overall
newlinebusiness performance.
newlineIn this outline the present study has been under taken to analyse and measure
newlinethe employee perception towards HR practices. The employee perception depends on
newlinedemographic factors and HR factors of the organization.
newlineFor this study purpose a well-structured questionnaire is developed and
newlineadministered with help of the available literature. This study is restricted to the LIC
newlinebranches of select districts in Andhra Pradesh. The total sample size is 1665 out of that
newline414 sample size taken for the study. The statistical tools such as T- test, ANOVA, Chisquare, Regression, and correlation have been used to test the hypothesis.
newline The findings of the thesis lead the researcher to conclude with the following
newlinepoints. The present study evaluated HR practices at LIC branches of select districts.
newlineThe study found that numerous variables influence the employee perceptions but as per
newlinethe study a few variables show impact over perception of employees.
newlineGenerally findings demonstrate complex interaction between HR practices and
newlineemployee perceptions. But there is no impact of demographic factors on HR planning
newlineand staffing but at the same time impact of designation over the staffing. There is impact
newlineof training over the skills and performance and compensation also should be fair based
