dc.description.abstractxxv newlineABSTRACT newlineThe generated oxidative stress within living organisms result as growth of several diseases including cardiovascular diseases, hepatitis, cancer, asthma, liver injury, cataracts and immune deficiency diseases or disorders. Liver is the main organ attacks via ROS. Parenchymal cells are main cells exposed to oxidative stress induced damage in liver. Therefore, this study work has been dedicated with the objective to examine and estimate two therapeutic plants for its hepatoprotective activity also curative and prophylactic effectiveness with thorough phytochemical isolation and screening of extant bioactive phytoconstitutents. For present study morphological parts of two remedial plants have been nominated viz. fruit of the Manikara hexandra (MH) and leaves of Prosopis cineraria, (PC) depending on their folkloric and traditional practices as their easy accessibility. newlineThe objective of the study was to undertake a comparative qualitative phytochemical analysis of the different parts like Manikara hexandra(MH) fruit and Prosopis cineraria (PC) leaves, a traditional herb used against several diseases. The preliminary phytochemical study outcome of extracts of MH and PC contain phenolic compounds. The quantitative test of total flavonoids content (TFC), total tannin content (TTC) and total phenolics content (TPC) in MH displayed maximum TPC and TFC in MHEAE (198.14±0.69mg GAE/g of extract; 31.23±0.39 mg QE/g of extract) whereas extract of MHEE contains maximum TTC amount (42.52±0.98mg GAE/g of extract) beside with appreciable amounts of TPC and TFC. Various PC extracts moreover exhibited different TTC levels (3.82±0.39 - 0.38±0.04 mg GAE/g dry extract), TPC levels (39.21±1.97 - 5.02±0.87 mg GAE/g dry extract) and TFC newlinexxvi newline(22.18±0.51 - 2.10±0.23 mg QE/g dry extract) and. The maximum quantity of TTC and TPC was obtain in PCEE monitored by PCCHE, PCEAE, PCPEE and PCAQE however, the maximum TFC value also obtained in PCEAE monitored by PCCHE, PCEAE, PC PEE and PCAQE. newlineBased on the in vitro hepatoprotective, in
