dc.description.abstractWith the rapid proliferation of Internet of Things (IoT) devices, security has become a newlinecritical concern. The Edge-Based Mobile Cloud Computing (EMCC) paradigm offers newlinea promising solution to improve the Security of IoT Systems. This abstract presents an newlineoverview of EMCC solutions and their role in bolstering IoT security. EMCC takes newlineadvantage of computational resources and storage capabilities of leveraging edge newlinedevices and cloud infrastructure to tackle security challenges in IoT environments. By newlinedistributing computational tasks to the edge infrastructure, EMCC minimizes data newlinetransmission to the cloud, reducing latency and enhancing privacy.
