The increasing demand for compact lithium polymer batteries with high newlineionic conductivity led to proper exploration of material. The purpose of this study is newlineto investigate the enhancement of ion conductivity, dielectric properties and thermal newlinestability of polymer electrolyte such as Poly (methyl methacrylate) - (PMMA), newlinePoly(vinylidenefluoride-co-hexafluoropropylene) - PVDF-HFP and Polycaprolactone - newlinePCL with and without Barium Titanate (BaTiO3) nanofiller. The nanofiller BaTiO3 is newlinechosen for its high dielectric constant value which when incorporated in polymer newlinematrix improves the dielectric permittivity and ion conductivity making it effective newlinein energy storage applications. newlineThe lithium ion concentration of different electrolytes such as liquid, newlinePVDF HFP polymer, PVDF HFP -Nano BaTiO3 composite Polymer, PCL newlinebiopolymer and PCL-BaTiO3nanocomposite electrolyte of lithium battery has been newlinesimulated in COMSOL Multiphysics. The mobility of lithium ion in PVDF HFP newlinebased nanocomposite polymer electrolyte is more when compared to other newlineelectrolytes. Nanocomposite based PCL electrolyte has attained minimal change in newlinelithium concentration compared with nanocomposite PVDF-HFP. newlineIn this work, solid polymer electrolytes were prepared by solvent casting newlinetechnique with a fixed amount of propylene carbonate (PC) used as a plasticizer, newlineLithium hexafluorophosphate (LiPF6) as a dopant salt and BaTiO3 as a Nano filler in newlinebase polymer matrix. The surface morphology characterization was carried out newlinethrough Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) to study the dispersion and newlinedistribution of Barium Titanatenanofiller in prepared composite samples. newline
