Abstract

The main objective of this work is the reduction and recovery of heavy metals i.e. Pb and Cd from the aqueous phase using various techniques namely photocatalysis, reduction crystallization, and supported liquid membrane. The comparison of all the processes indicates that the sequential process of reduction crystallization and photocatalysis i.e. RC+PC resulted in maximum reduction of both the metals Pb2+ and Cd2+ at lower temperature conditions. newline
