Organizational Climate in Private Engineering Colleges in South Tamil Nadu

Abstract

The research problem chosen for the present study is organizational climate in private engineering colleges in south Tamil Nadu. The present study is conducted in South Tamil Nadu. The data are gathered from 900 faculty members of private engineering colleges by using multi stage random sampling method through structured questionnaire. In order to study objectives and testing hypotheses, percentages, mean, standard deviation, Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) test, Chi square test, confirmatory factor analysis, multiple correlation, multiple regression and Structural Equation Model (SEM) are used. Significant difference is there among work environment and socio-economic status of faculty members of private engineering colleges excluding gender, marital status, type of family and size of family. Significant difference is there among team work and socio-economic status of faculty members of private engineering colleges excluding gender, marital status, type of family and size of family.
