Development of Wearable Monitoring Framework for Detection of Cardiac Episodes

Abstract

Continuous cardiac episodes monitoring is very important to understand any abnormalities relating to the heart, and usage of wearable ECG monitors proved to indicate the required clinical diagnostic details. Though several wearable monitors are available, the scope for research is still emerging due to unresolved issues, such as affordable healthcare cost, gel less electrodes design, etc. Frequent palpitations weaken the heart muscle, which causes sudden death, and there is an urgent need to monitor ventricular ectopic beat (VEB) episodes along with arrhythmias, such as bradycardia and Tachycardia. This research study suggests developing a wearable monitoring framework for cardiac episode detection. newline
