Abstract
Improved chemical transformations under the influence of green approaches are crucial for the synthesis of salient biomolecules. In this context, the metal-free and reusable heterogeneous metal catalysts involving approaches are displayed for the synthesis of crucial organic compounds. First chapter displays the importance of substitution of alkenes in organic synthesis. Additionally in this chapter new trends of exploration of solvents to act as essential reagents in organic synthesis has been discussed relevantly. Second Chapter displays the metal-free synthesis of iodohydrins and and#946;-iodoethers using molecular iodine and DMSO, the dual nature of DMSO has been explored to act as oxidising agent and hydroxylating agent. The crucial role of presence of MeCN as the potential solvent has been discussed in details. Third Chapter is a discussion about the advances in synthesis as well as the medicinal application of 1,2-benzothiazine derivatives. This crucial moiety has been proved to be playing a vital role in pharmaceuticals.Fourth Chapter is a survey on the impact of molecular iodine and DMSO to replace different
newlinekinds of oxidants and metal catalysts diverging organic transformations. The discussed
newlinereagent couple has been proved to be the best supplants for the different kinds of hazardous
newlinereagents to build crucial organic compounds.
newlineFifth Chapter and Sixth Chapter illustrate in silico study featuring phenolic group
newlinedecorated pioglitazones to deal with type II diabetes. The binding affinities towards PPARand#947; have been discussed in detail.
