Synthesis Characterization of Transition Metal Complexes of 4 Substituted 2 2 6 2 Terpyridine Ligands And Their Applications

Abstract

This research work is based on the development of a particular type of nitrogen-based heterocyclic 2,2and#8242;:6and#8242;,2and#8242;and#8242;-terpyridine based ligands and their transition metal complexes. The ligands were used in the application of hydrogelation, anion sensing and enzyme mimics. Terpyridine metal complexes are used in biological applications such as BSA, HSA and DNA binding, cytotoxicity and antibacterial activity.
